Sex
Having sex should feel pleasurable, good and wonderful, but sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes, it can be uncomfortable, hurt, or forced. If you are going to have sex, it’s important that it is something you and the ones you have sex with want to do. It’s also important that the other person(s) doesn’t do anything to you that you don’t want them to, and that you don’t do anything to them that they don’t want to.
“Sex in exchange for payment” is a form of trade. When we talk about sex in exchange for payment, we might instinctively imagine someone having sex with a person and receiving money for it. But it doesn’t only have to involve money or cash. “Payment” can also mean clothes, drugs, alcohol, food, somewhere to live, a trip somewhere, admission to an event or a club, and so on. A person, in other words, uses a sexual favour as “payment” for another favour, or to get something for themselves.
